My tractor is acting like it is missing. It still runs, but when it relaxes after being under a load it seams like it is missing. If it were not a diesel I would have a better Idea what to do. Any suggestions?

I am using the same fuel in 2 other tractors and not having any problems. I drained some out of the 2 fuel filters, and have not had a chance to see if that helps yet. I thought it might be trash or water in the filters. If this does not help, I plan to change the filter units.

not the fuel you put into it; the fungus grows in the tank at the line between the water & the diesel fuel. Only thing that helps is draining & cleaning out the tank, shut off valve, lines, fuel pump & filter. In others words the whole system has to be taken apart & cleaned & fresh fuel with anti-fungal agent added to fuel. Yes, you have water in the fuel tank. Condensation from years of use. The black fungus grows at the water/fuel interface.
