You lucky dog, I been wanting one for years, was planning on taking a drag type and build a three point hitch on one. If that?s an 8 footer I?ve seen them priced around $400-800 dollars used down here in Covington County

It is missing all the tooth wheels between the packers. Lots of work to repspace those wheels and fix wood bearings.

Yes the star wheel spacers are gone between the rollers. Take a chain saw and cut some oak blocks get a hole saw and cut holes in the blocks. Make the blocks long enough to tighten up the spaces between the rollers and your good to go. Soak the blocks in oil, drill a hole from the top of the block into the axle hole for an oil reservoir. gobble

Man! Sounds like you got tricked into hauling off the old junk. Don't be so gullible next time or pretty soon you will have a collection of yard art and no place to put it... Like me.

You can turn that into a useful packer pretty easy, you could put a 3pt on it and take the wheels and slide them up tight together on the shaft and put collars on the outside the wheels to keep them tight just wouldn't have quite as wide of coverage no big deal.
