In Teakettle's post about Amazon, you mentioned buying 2 Eagle gas cans on there for $63. I looked but didn't find the listing. If you still have the link, could you post that please?

You guys got me curious so I looked, and I saw a remarkable thing. If you pull up the page for "Eagle UI-50-FS" there's a two-pack for $122.65, but all the way to the right there's an option to order just one (it's labeled "5 gallon") for $31.50! Order fast, before Amazon figures out that
someone made a boo-boo...

Ah, that's where I screwed up. There's a 2-pack, 3-pack, 4-pack, 5-gallon. My pea-brain read it as 5-pack.

Thanks Teakettle!!

By the way, I see this a lot on Amazon - where you can buy 1 of something for a good price, but then a multi-pack is ridiculously priced. I just missed this one.

I'm not good with links but it looks
from your post below that you found
what I did. I just searched for metal
gas cans and found those ones. I have
a mind to buy a couple more at that
price.

I looked at these a few years ago, but was unwilling to pay $50+ per can. So, ordered 4 of 'em earlier. Again, thanks for the post.

By the way, still have my old plastic gas cans, but the cap rings got brittle over the years and most have snapped. Bought new replacement spouts with lids and gaskets, and spent probably $15 per can. Something ate through one of the spouts a couple of winters back. Would like to see 'em eat through [b:79734ddb0e]THESE![/b:79734ddb0e] *LOL*
