Allis Chalmers WD

Hello everyone.... Hope all finds everyone well... Today I brought home a Allis Chalmers WD that I just purchased here in Jersey... I found what appears to be the serial number on the left side engine block (lower left) It is No. # WD 3117 99PA WD is cast in the block...2117 is Stamped clearly and looks factory... 99PA is about 1/4 inch over from 3117 and is stamped also but not perfectly inline and not as deep and clearly at the 3117... Any help would be greatly appreciated. The prior owner thinks it might have been a 1945.... Thanks ... much appreciated... Steve [email protected]

Serial number for that is on the left side of the rear end. Look at the brake cover and there is a flat spot sort of behind it that the numbers are on

WD was made from 1948-1953. What you have is the engine serial number. Tractor serial number is on the differential, as old said.

Ok.... Found it... WD 77110 is what I found behind the left brake cover..... Thanks... Steve

sn chart to the left shows this as a 1951 probably fairly early in production year
