Small riding tractor

This was one of the last things my dad bought before he passed in 1995. We kept it in the corner of our shed for many years.

I didnt use it much because I needed the excersise of the walk behind mower

Last week I got it out,,put a new battery in it,and got it running/I hadnt run it in a least eight years.I had put stabile in the tank..and luckily it wasnt gummed up.

I changed the oil..greased it up,,put some air in tires,,and cleaned the baby all up.

I hope dad is looking down and sees it still looking good after many years

She said to me,,get the tractor going,,so I can help you.

The little tractor is a peach,,,and so is my wife

Sharp little unit Larry. Glad you've still got it. Dad bought a new Massey Ferguson 7 when I was a teenager. He had to put a new Tecumseh engine in it once,then I put a new B&S in it. The deck finally got so it wasn't usable. I don't remember where it even went. It might still be sitting among my brother's plunder somewhere.

My brother has all the big tractors,,they were all on the farm in NJ,,,My brother and I get along great,,but,,he takes care of things his way and Im a bit fussier,,,lol

I have the same problem once in a while. I make a reply and it gets lost in cyber space, so I make another and wham I have two, the same as you did. Some sort of glitch in the system on occasion.

my dad had this Bolens,,he bought it for 350 from a neighbor up the street from me.It came with a snowblower too.I sold the snowblower for him for 150 many years ago.The engine on the Bolens got tired,so Dad bought the Snapper,Although the Bolens was old..it was garage kept,and looked brand new.This is what it looked like a while ago at my brothers,,he didnt keep it inside for all these years.I quess soon the chinese tractors will look that way too////

I always thought the Bolens was the toughest looking lawn tractor there was in that era.
