Bought this 1620 with a nasty knock. It ran on all 3 cylinders onto my trailer, then into my shop but, wasn't going to for long.
Tore it down and found a broken crank. There's no tag on the engine to identify it.
Casted on the right side of block is: J843
1.330
P843

Can the engine be identified from these markings and where can I get parts to rebuild it?

Ford 1620
 
Your Ford/New Holland dealer can get parts for that Jap engine but they may cost more than the tractor is worth. I hade some of those little tractors with bad engines and I sold them to a salvage company for good money as the demand for parts is high.
