I was helping a friend unstick a stuck engine in a ford tractor. he'd been thru the diesel fuel in the cylinders. he asked me what i used. I told him acetone/auto tranny fluid. well that didn't work. someone told him to try peroxide. less then 24hrs, it was free but had a stick valve. used the same thing on it. this was all new to me!

Thanks for posting that. I'm trying to get the axle shims out of the wheel on a ford tractor and haven't been having any luck. I will try that.p

That's what I use on small engine cranks to clean off the rod journal when the rod sticks and breaks due to low oil level. Hydrogen peroxide HATES aluminum. Make sure you don't breath the fumes..

Are we talking over the counter, 3% pour it on your cut & watch it bubble Hydrogen peroxide or commercial grade?

Did we settle on the HP used was OTC medicinal or commercial grade? If CG, where is it purchased? I guess a google would answer that.
