When I go to start the old 54 Chevy flat bed after sitting for 8 months, and the battery is still up, and it starts, and the brakes have good pedal. I use the truck to haul my old Allis Chalmers Model M to do disking. I was going to stop disking this year, but I will give it another year, as I still can do it. Dad did it into his 80's. At 75 I doubt I will go that far. Mowing is so much easier. Just mow, and go. Stan

I had that same feeling yesterday when I went to crank up the Husqvarna. Winter hit too fast and the mower ended up sitting outside under the Spruces all winter. BUT....it cranked and started right up! Had bought a float charger to put on there, but never got a round tuit, so it just sat......and sat, and sat.

James I thiink he has posted pictures of it with the machine loaded on it before. If I had nothing but time I would go back and find it. I may be wrong but I think the model M is a crawler. You can look back yourself if you have time. Go to Modern View and click the Search to the right of FAQ. In the search by author box type in 37chief and poke search. All the results show up in pages of 25 or more. I think the photo was posted sometime last year. In the time it took to type all this on my phone I probably could have found it and posted a link to it. And now I am banking on the fact that you will come back to this post and use the info.
