Ferguson TO-30 fix or sell

I have a 1952 Ferguson TO-30 that I bought almost 15 years ago. It has been sitting probably 8 years. It ran okay, some carb issues, but one day the clutch pedal went to the floor and stayed there. I got another tractor years later and haven't touched the Ferg. I paid $2,500 when everything was working. I got a quote for clutch fix and it was $1,300 at a shop. I don't want the tractor anymore but am unsure what I should do.
1) Clean carb, get it started, so I can show it runs. Sell as is with needing clutch.
2) Clean carb, get it started, so I can show it runs. Sell as is with needing clutch, and paint the hood (I have some Ag paint laying around)
3) Do nothing, sell as non-starting, needing clutch.

What would you do?

If me, I'd get it running and sell. Not running and bad clutch equals scrap price. Depending on demand for these in your area I might be tempted to split it and fix the clutch then sell.

Did you check the pinch bolt where the clutch arm attaches to the shaft?

It could have slipped on the shaft, let the pedal go down.

If that doesn't fix it,I would go with option #1.

If it has good tires, and otherwise in good condition, could probably get $1000 for it.

Did the dealer confirm it needed a clutch replacement after an inspection or did you just get a quick quote for a new clutch? Steve's advice below makes the most sense, you might find the fix is a simple one. That happening all of a sudden seems a bit strange. For sure, if it runs then that's critical one way or the other.

Whatever you decide, I'd skip painting the hood. It won't add any value to the tractor and you'll have more free time to throw a ball around the yard, play with the dog, whatever. Anything but painting the hood.
