Apparently the neighbor who owns the hill above one of our fields has been practicing his golf driving in our direction. My son and I picked up a bucketful of golf balls, at least three dozen. Since
I can't see that field from the house I guess I should be glad that that's the worst thing that happens back there...

I mowed a field last year that had hundreds of golf balls. The flail mower picked up a lot and threw them in all directions. I have a screen behind my seat so I didn't get hit. Yesterday I spotted a golf ball behind my fire extinguisher. Stan

Yes, it's entertaining but not entirely safe when the mower gets into a golf ball patch. That's why we were trying to find as many as we could before the vegetation got too tall for us to be able to spot them.

They make great targets. Even a 22 makes them fly pretty good. Toss them 20 feet away and start shooting. More you shoot, the farther they get away.
