Wow, had to do a double-take. Thought at first this was the pic from yesterday. It IS the same kind of tractor, and both are missing that breather cap, but different pics.

I wonder what implement in the background is with the wood slats, and is it sitting on top of an old car?

My guess is a grain binder. You can see what looks like curved reel support and a twine can.

Falling down grain binder. Slats are actually wood rollers that the canvases go on. Drive sprocket of reel is also in front.
