Sometimes you just strike out. I needed to replace the PTO shaft on my 240 because it was all twisted when I got it. First bad sign was the belt pulley cover gasket was an old piece of cardboard from a TV dinner. Then my upper shaft drive gear was chewed up but at least the out but gear looked good! Only someone welded it to the PTO shaft. Gotta love old farm repairs.
