Headed out on a Road Trip to pick up a 5203, FEL, 4WD that will fit my needs on my small 20 acre tree farm. Anyone have experience with this tractor that can lend any advise?

We owned a 5403. They have a dry clutch. We did hay with it and ended up trading at 1000 or so hrs because the clutch was gone out of adjustment. We also had a loader on it but we weren?t going to have it split and traded it for a new holland T4.75 with a reverser and cab..

Made in India.....budget tractor.....good engine.....target owner, someone that is not making a living with a tractor.

Keep the clutch adjusted,,you need to keep an inch or so free travel,, if you don't it will cook itself out..

This tractor is a 2008 with only 632 hours in it. I will only be using it on my hobby tree farm, 20 acres. Looks well cared for and maintenance records are provided.

I looked at this series, and the newer "E" ones like it, I liked the basic design and made an attempt to buy one.

Main thing I didn't like was the 9F-3R trans, right hand reverse and only one usable reverse gear. Not ideal for a loader, but certainly better than not having 4x4 or a loader.
