3010 John Deere

Question, did John Deere 3010 tractors come with a generator or alternator? The tractor is a 12 volt system, but it looks like the original had an alternator

Generator gas had 12 volt system . Diesel had the 24 volt system.

They had a generator.

Alternators appeared well into the run of the 4020 era.

Gas versions of the 3010 were (+) ground, diesels were 24 Volt with "isolated ground".

Deere started using Alternators as standard equipment around 1968.
