Hydraulic bucket leaks down pretty quick update

Just thought Id let everyone know the solution to my hydraulic problem last week. The problem was in the valve and not in the cylinders. It turned out to be very simple. It was one of the poppet type check valves in the spool valve. It was sticking slightly is all. Cleaned it up, and reinstalled and it works like a champ so far. Easy peasy! Just wish I hadn't waited so long to look into it but I was convinced it would be a much bigger job. Thanks to everyone for their help!

Glad the fix was simple. Many times I have stalled off a fix thinking it would be a big thing only to find out it was simple when I finally did get to it. Last one for me wasn't even machinery related. It was the kitchen sink. The hot water valve was dripping for a good year before I spent five minutes the other day to pull the old one out and pop a new one in.

2 weeks ago I went to put air in one of the tractor rear tires. Calcium ate the valve stem, wound up breaking the tube stem trying to twist the old
inner stem out. Drain tire, Order new tube. About a 4 hour job. Things can go both ways
