IH Tractor what model

I have a IH tractor from Great Britain, the model number: A440003B001679, Engine serial Number: 3040912R4. Could some one tell me the model and year please, I need to by parts for the engine. Thank You

That's not an engine serial #. It is the part # for the block for the "British Diesel" BD-144 engine. Used in a B250, B-275, and a 354.

You didn't mention if gas or diesel. I come up with that same block # for the 144 c.i. gas and diesel and I assume they cannot both be
correct. Diesel is the BD-144 and gas is a the BC-144. Parts pretty easy to find for either.
