Sector Gear- Super M

Hello Ladies & Gents, I own a 1953 Super M that has a wobble in front end, tricycle. I seem to be having trouble lifting the sector gear from the shaft. I have soaked it with PB Blaster for a week but still won't budge. Is their a special puller for this, since all of my pullers won't fit?
Sincerely!

Jack the front end up a bit then hit the shaft with a block of wood on the end of the shaft. The wood protects the threads on the end of the shaft.

The sector gear can be a stinker to loosen - it's on a tapered spline which can really hold it tight. Best way I've found to get it off:

1-Jack up the front end and remove the lower bolster/wheel assembly. (Removing the bolster/wheels makes step #3 MUCH more effective!)

2-Loosen the pivot shaft nut until it is flush with the top of the pivot shaft threads.

3-Lay a piece of soft metal scrap (brass, sheet aluminum, etc) on top of the nut to protect the threads. Now hit it squarely and HARD with the biggest hammer you've got (an 8# sledge is good). A few good licks should break it free.

Tip - one of the 4 bolts that attach the lower bolster to the pivot shaft flange has a special head which fits into a C-shaped slot on the bottom of the upper bolster, When resassembling it must go back into the same location!
