In front of the sliding barn door to provide some wind brake. A lot of the surrounding area is without power today do to the high winds and I been doing my best to minimize any possible damage to my place. Right now the noise from the wind is louder than a freight train.
Checked the rain gauge this morning and we had an inch and a half overnight. I checked with my daughter in southern Illinois and she told me that it has been a wet spring there to. At least with the dangerous wind outside I am allowed to stay inside and play on my computer. I have wanted to move some of my stuff over to the site of my auction next month but I need the ground to dry up just a little more. I am glad that I did not move any of the wagons to the sale site as it is wide open to the wind and they would have become self propelled by now. My place is in NNY, not far from the big river and Canada, where the wind never stops.
Brendon Warren live just a few miles from me and he posted on the taler's site that his power is off which does not surprise me.
