Somebody needs to apologize

We know that sometimes we upset women without knowing. Whoever ticked off Mother Nature, please apologize. Monday was 3" of wet snow then 45 degrees and sunshine. Yesterday was thunderstorms and 60 degrees. This morning it is 30 degrees and more snow showers. Calling for more snow this weekend. I can't take the mood swings anymore.

I know,. Upper 70's last few days.
Thunder storms last night cooler
today. Frost warning tonight!!
That ain't right, even in Alabama

I'll take your swings!
Minneapolis hasn't hardly been above freezing since Saturday (at least where I live), Only 4 above this morning. Maybe 37 on Thursday but they've guessed optimistically lately. The "dusting" of snow Friday night turned out to be almost 4", and it snowed most of Monday through most of Tuesday. I'll take one of those 60 degree days.

The weather in southern Ind has been sub par since 2018 began . ou r winters we
normally get a 50-70 degree week or 2 sometimes even 3 of lovliness here
before getting stuk back in the deep freezer again. so far no love , only rain
and mudsoup. yesterday started cold then it revved up to 70 and the wind
tried to match that ..34 again now . in 2013 there were over 5000 acres of corn
planted.aint no one even itching to start .muchless talking about it .

Seven degrees in northwest Iowa and there is a snow drift across the yard. The two snow moving tractors aren’t plugged in because I don’t worry about plugging in a tractor in April.

Old man winter got sick of being hen pecked and told mother nature to take a hike. They are like brothers and sisters fighting over their parents estate.

Mother Earth is a bit ticked off with us thinking we can manipulate her. Not an uncommon response in women. She is showing who is boss.

Typical for the first week of April. This is exactly why I quit calving this early. I remember the first week of April 2003. We had a three day ice storm. I had 18 calves born that week and lost 6 of them. No more. I did it a few more years, but you can bet your bottom dollar that this week will suck, weatherwise about 90% of the time.

My countdown continues, 8 days till corn in date for Eastern Iowa, maybe it will be above freezing by then.

I am figuring it will be a month later.

More snow forecast, maybe 5 inches, this coming Sunday/ Monday. Temps should barely get over 30 degrees until Tuesday - a week from now.

Insurance planting date for corn is April 11th here, wonder who, will be rolling. :)

Remember, you have to keep the tracrtor under 5mph when planting so the wake doesn't move the seed......

(Our rolling hills are probably 25% ponds with ice over the top as the previous snow and rain sleet melted, frost is not out yet.)

Send all the snow/rain you can out here to the High Plains!

We?ve not had a drop of moisture in a 160 days or so...

The dry land wheat is beginning to lose faith and farmers losing hope!

Wow. Glad y'all are experiencing "Va Weather" lol. Been nice and warm finally here. Said shoot why not tempt fate and plant some stuff early? Got two snap rows planted, followed by squash. Even put in some nice tomatoe transplants...

Now getting down to a light frost tonight, amd possible snow sat &/or monday lol. Yep got things covered. Usually wait till the 15th or later to be sure. I blame the whiskey!
