didnt pass cdl

First time I took it my brake valve never popped when I bled the tanks down. I had done it first thing in the morning before I went to the test and they both popped at 5psi. Too low but they still popped. Didn't happen at the MVA though. I was S.O.L. Instructor disqualified the truck right there, and me by extension. Got a better tractor the second time and passed just fine.

You have to be fingerprinted for the background check several weeks before you go in to get your license.
Louisiana now gives a 6 year license.
Catch is the back ground check is only good for 5 years.
So you pay for 6 years but it expires 5 years from the date you were finger printed.
For this reason hazmat license do not expire on your birthday any more.

thanx for the empathy ,Guys , thats what i get for watching a Arkansas trip chek on You Tube ,I Know air brakes,. And even demonstrated my skills to my old school pals ,the way they understood the brake test,They said i had it down Pat ! .Indiana and the Feds are sodampiky, and no where could i find the EXACT video demonstration of how INDIANA Does Their Air Brake test.. Well i Found Out Today the hard way LOLL .All i can do is read about it in the dambook. and for this left handed minded guy the detail is VERYDAMPOOR, Who ever Wrote that dambook probably is in cahoots and splitting the til with the testing stations. Based on The wording i Should have passed . but they have their exact word for word step by step litany that must be stated Perfectly . I told the guy all about the airpump and cutout limits but i failed when i did not demonstrate that it physically actually worked and cut out at 120 lbs,.which it does ..He had me fan the brakes down to 90lbs and start the engine, dum impetuous me , . the air compressor had only built to 115 lbs ,when i started doing the pull up test.i should have let the governor kik outat 120 and identify it when i heard it . i should have known better about EXACT TESTING . And i do Now after i learned exactly what should be stated ,wisht i could get this behind me , but ,. they will not take me back until May 3rd.

I just took my first written test. I was told to plan on not passing the first time around. Well, I passed. Have to admit, some questions had two correct answers. Had to figure which one they wanted. The only way to do that is to study that darned book.

learned real quick, in freshman English Literature, that what ever the teacher said MUST be regurgitated, whether you like it or not.......especially that any reference to a circle/ring meant se*!

yes, had to get a twic card also between my concealed carry permit ,twic card , and hasmat, been fingered printed 3 times

Not that it matters any more, but due to my age and not currently using mine, Texas failed to renew it....had to settle for an operator's permit.

On whether or not you need one in Tx for farm trucks over 25k, don't know. Don't know if they are required at all for farm work.

I had always carried Commercial rather than the Operator's license since I got my first license when I was a kid. Didn't know if I'd need it later on so I took the added testing at the time. Had not determined my "niche" in life at the time.

First time I renewed my CDL, when that became mandatory, the clerk failed to add the Haz Mat endorsement and I didn't catch it till I got the license. Good thing that I didn't need it at the time.
