Goodbye Henry

Today my Super H(Henry) left. I gave him to my sister 300 miles away. 'Wheat farmer' hauled him for us.I miss him already.

My Grandpa had a super H loved that tractor more nimble than an M with about as much HP.

7 years ago I traded my h to a buddy of mine for a used brush hog and some cash. Miss it and wish I still had it. Got rid of it because it had a cracked block. Still remember the serial number. 116938.

I'm to the point where I have 'too many' tractors.I've reached my limit.(I have 20).In the last 8 monts 4 have been added.1456;400,and a couple of parts tractors.So,one had to go. And my sister needed a tractor. the 400 will replace 'Henry'.

That picture of the H and hay rake on rolling hills brings back memories. Spent a lot of time on dad's H raking hay on the rolling hills of south west Wisconsin. One of my favorite jobs growing up.

larry that is one gorgous view you have at your place, wow looking out over the valley with the rolling hills( similar to our area) it looks like a postcard!
