That is basically identical to my company truck and I have been really pleased with it so far. The only complaint I can think of is the turning radius is pretty big but that is expected with a long bed extended cab. The 6.0 motor won?t blow you away with power but they do seem reliable

seems pretty peppy so far. only drove it about 15 miles or so to get er home. does have 4:10 gears in it, so it should tow pretty good.

Congrats on the new truck. Looks nice You will like it alot. The heated mirrors are really nice in the bad weather. And the backup lights in the mirrors are awesome for backing up at night Espically to hook up to a trailer or etc. Tow haul mode with the grade braking is really nice also. There should be a switch below the heat/ac control, next to the cargo light switch.

Chevy/GMC really took a step ahead when they did away with the suicide doors on their extended cabs. In November we bought a pair of half ton 2WDs that look like that with the 5.3 engines. The guys driving Fords immediately noted the "regular" half doors.

Yes they did a good job with reducing the wind noise in the cabin by going to that style doors. The only down fall is now there is a post there to get by and around with your legs. Espically if the person getting in and out of the back seat has long legs. Otherwise much nicer set up.

Sharp!!! Now for the wish list.
B&W Turn Over hitch.
Pipe running boards
Sprayin bed liner
In bed trailer plug
Front chip guard
Cab clearance lights
Enjoy it.

NYO ...... yes, I had those mirror features on my '69 VW van and I really found them handy, especially when hooking up to my 40' Airstream trailer at 30 below zero.

You did good on the price. I like the back doors as opposed to the swing out doors I have on mine. I had them install the tow mirrors as part of the purchase deal. When I got in my first snow I looked all over for the heated mirror switch. Later took it back to the dealer and they said I didn't ask for the heated mirrors which I assumed was standard with tow mirrors. I miss not having them, lesson learned.

You will love that truck. 3 things to go back and see the parts dept. There are lots of options you can get. If you want mud flaps the factory molded are really good and fit great. You may be able to get then painted to match. They have a under the seat storage unit that goes under the rear seat made of plastic. Keeps things from sliding. I really like mine. If you want floor mats check the price difference between Weathertech and the GM. The GM should be cheaper and about the same look. If you don't have the trailer plug in the bed already the wiring is there just look at the frame at the front of the trunk bed on the driver's side. Have fun with it. David

Sweet lookin truck there Glennster! Congratulations! I hope you enjoy it. I like the white color and not all the bells and whistles either. Kow Farmer Kurt
