Like Gibbs on NCIS. He always has jars full of screws in his basement along with a bottle of Scotch but never has any glasses. What's so difficult about that?

One of my neighbors both he and wife are super neat nicks. Always shinny cars. NO kids, white carpet in house that is spotless, and their full basement is TOTALLY empty. I would go crazy in thirty seconds.

I have a supply of bolts too, both old and new. Don't tell your neighbors or they will be over every time they need a bolt.

My neighbor had a large setup of those small trays of oddball parts. Drawers and drawers of them. Like a hardware store.

As the auction, I bought them. All of them.

I've been very quiet about owning that. It's not even in my shop work area to be seen.

I'm sure they would be cleaned out ptretty quick if the neighbors new the odd woodruff key and so forth was on my wall.....

I must have exceeded my dad I have about 4 pallets full of bolts plus a cabinet of nuts,bolts,washers and other odds and ends in it. And some more boxes of bolts nuts and washers. In various sizes.

I've come to know around here that those old men in white coveralls don't plan to do anything, they might get dirty, but are experts on whatever you are trying to do. . .

I have tons of bolts, nuts, screws, nails, etc., but they're not organized. So, when I need a bolt or screw where do I go? Home Depot/Lowes.

and there are some of us who are OCDers who have the nuts, bolts and screws sorted by size then into sub categories of length, thread pitch, head slots (Philips-Spade-Hex, etc). These time consuming antics do save time when you are looking for a specific odd ball...This affliction usually exists in older - retired folks who like to sit and sort...
