Hi, I have what I think is a ROH Skid Shovel sitting in a field in Australia. I want to sell but am having trouble identifying it. I'm not even sure its a Skid Shovel. Can anyone offer any info at all on this?

that is a Massey Ferguson 2244 or 200 with a Drott loader Don't have any idea why it says what it dose

is that tag on the loader frame or on the machine ? .the machine tag should be on the front of the box on the left side as you get on 100% sure that is a Massey and the loader is a copy of a drott loader used in the U.S.

Here is the other side. I'm in the states myself but took these when I was back in Australia. I don't remember where the machine tag was on it.
I want to try and sell this so do you think describing this as a crawler loader would be sufficient?

Not much help on the crawler, but that looks like an ideal spot for one of those brown snakes to jump out of the woodwork...No thank you! Lol!
:).

Since it is in Australia and in the southern hemisphere, all the ID number plates and seat access are opposite to what they would be here.
An oil filter on the bottom left will now be on the top right. Top is now bottom, bottom is top, left and right sides are reversed. A
serial number like FA2756 will read 6572AF and so on. If you bring it home, everything will revert back to the regular placement location
that we are familiar with.

ROH was/is a global company based in Britain.
It partnered up or was major/partial owner of Massey-Ferguson.
That machine was either built or imported into AU by ROH.

Since I like rusty old things, I'll be nosy. What's your history with the machine--sitting there when you bought the place? Ever run it? I'm just a "tire-kicker," no interest in buying but be sure to put in your ad that it has the ripper on back--I'm sure that'll be a selling point.

Hi RedMF40, Our dad bought it a while back. He got sick, it stopped working in the paddock and my brother's friends tried to fix it but didn't finish. We figure its better off finding another home rather than rusting away further. Thanks for the tip on the ripper.

Thanks for the reply. Hope your dad can get on the road to recovery soon. I think it's a good plan to rid yourself of something like this while there may still be some interest. Wait too long and it becomes a permanent part of the landscape. Good luck.
