O.T.Been a LONG HARD winter.

Sure as shootin, it has been a long trying hard winter to say the least. My #2 son is in remission of colin cancer(sp)
and has finished the worst of the kemo.Dr calls him amazing and no further indications of cancer growth.During this trying times. we lost our pal(Jacob)plush hair puppy of 4 years old.Congenital kidney failure.Had him over in Minn.for treatment but we lost him after all.Our home became the most lonesomeness place ever. After some time passed, and us looking for another pal, one showed up over in Mondovi Wis,a 2+1/2 hr one way drive. We called and told the lady to hold on to him as we are on our way.Sure enough, she was true to her word.Long story as to why she had to find another home for AXEL.Didn't take Axel long to train us.lol.His home corner is in the booth looking out the window and alerting us to travelers out on his road.He is 11 months old, so bar any problems, he will be with us for a long time. Axel gets to visit the Dr.sometime next month for checkup. What a joy he brought into our home.So all your prayers did help us get through tough times, and I thank you all.Pixs of our new family member.Warmest regards LOU & VICTOR.

Lou,

Good to hear from you. I don't know or want to know al the details, but sure seems good to see you here. Them dogs got a way of working into your heart, we had to put down a damn nice dog, he needed it. I was soo lonely when I came home from work, well, we had o hava another.

The new pup did not erase the hurt from the first, but, he's grown into his own, and into our family.

Hope all is well, and that pup of yours looks like a keeper.

D.

nice looking dog Lou -- very alert looking -- My wife and I got a new pup last summer -now I dont need to walk around the yard to pick up small sticks -- The (DOUG)dog brings them to the small area by the front door -- He (it) loves kids and is very smart -- I taught him how to pray before He may eat then He puts both front feet on one of mine -- He likes to hold hands while He prays -- fun to train a dog -- Roy

Lou glad to hear from you. Sounds like the winter has been trying. It look like you got a good companion back so there is a bright spot.

Prayers going up for you, Lou. Know a little how you feel.....oldest son has Krones and I found out about a month ago that I have Melanoma. Had surgery last Wed. and I go back on 4-2-18 to talk about the plan of action. Best of luck and God's blessing upon you.

Nice to hear from you, Lou, and glad to hear things are on an uptick. Just gotta keep puttin' one foot in front of the other, and try to focus on things that make your life happy (like Ragnor the Wolf, there). LOL

Good to hear from you. I was thinking about you the other day and wondering how your wood stash was holding out. March has been cold here and haven't been able to slow down the consumption like other years.
Axle looks to be quite the handful/lap full HeHe.
You take care.

Well our wood supply dwindled right down to nothing, been Indian cutting wood, seems like 30 cord ago.lol. Had a long stretch of below zero weather that just ate up the wood supply. Even had snow here started at 6:30 am, after a warm up. Going to be one of those long awaited spring I think. How has your wood supply doing?
Axel is definitely a handful, but much needed.
