Does anyone know the difference between a 1105-f and an 1105er engine. One is in an f2400 front mower and the other is in a f2560. I have a service manual for the f2560 but not the f2400 and need to put a main seal in the 2400. Wondering if the torque specs etc will be the same.

Ran into this some at my prior employer. On Kubota engines the begining letter and numbers gives the number of cylinders and rough displacement. Mostly we dealt with V which is 4, numbers a rough liter size thus V110XY is a four cylinder 1.1 liter. But several engines we found were the same letter and size, but for the differing applications one was direct injection, and one was indirect. Might also be the governed RPM, or type of governor. I'm sure a web search would find the info you need.
