Anyone want a Tee Shirt while I'm having them made up? Your choice of tractor colors and they'll say FAKE FARMER on the front and back so the real farmers at the sale barn, auctions, feed store and like places will know right off who they need to Shun and turn their backs on except to turn around every now and then and spit tobacco juice on me.Should be brisk sellers(LOL)

You should take them down to Greenstone (or whatever PCA is called in your area) so all the "real" farmers who owe twice what they are worth can identify the "enemy". Typical, get the peasants fighting amongst themselves so they don't think about storming the castle with pitch forks and torches which is all they want us left with. And if that isn't gasoline on the fire, I've failed.

Do we REALLY want to start this nonsense up again today? Did you enjoy last nights posts so much you feel the need to troll for more?

Let's put our heads together Dave. We can find a way to have some fun with this one too. LOL

This has been real about fake farmers and real ones. Bruce didn't start out to make this a psssing contest but hit on something that is a sore spot with all. The corporation take over of the farming industry has made this worse.
One thing is we all love the farm and should all stick together in this day and time. Let everyone have their own opinion but as my mother taught us if you don't have something nice to say keep it to yourself.

I didnt comment till now,,I know if Bruce wasnt typing and others reading,it would have went better,Its hard to say what your saying., when it gets typed out it sounds different. One thing for sure,,Ill bet anything that Bruce wishes he ate another slice of pie before going out to the barn,,instead of typing,,,,(lol)

I think most of us have that experience almost every day. lol

Too many people have some magical ability to read between the lines and find things you aren't saying too. That doesn't help at all. It doesn't matter how many times you try to steer things back to the original statement, somebody has to keep running it off the rails.

Maybe I could use one of those T shirts, but it would have to be long sleeve as I refuse to wear short sleeve shirts. I have a pretty good sized garden on my mom and dad's and later older brother's farm site. Always wanted to be a farmer and tell everyone this is as close as I ever got. I don't really go to auctions or shows though so maybe it wouldn't work.

I read a lot of the former posts and I think Bruce never intended to insult anyone, just making a statement, and then some kept picking away at his statement and a way it went.

Not very often a post makes me LOL or even chuckle but this one did TF. Just too funny and satirical.
The recent posts on this subject had me shaking my head about how some folks read between the lines as Randy said and get so sensitive about what they and others do to make a living.

You like treading on thin ice don't you!!!! This should have been posted on Talers rather than here on Tractor Talk, and it is time to drop the whole subject on all the YT forums
Loren.

I'm a poser! I live in town and have two tractors and a plow in my garage, then again I could also be a city poser, as I have two tractors and a plow in my garage.

I'm confused!

Yes - I did read the posts that started this mess.
