There is a grocery store here. It's the only one and it is busy and a little high priced. It's called Roadrunner General Store. Neat little store and nice cashiers.

I picked up a couple of steaks and grilled them. Baked taters and Steamed broccoli in a garlic/butter sauce.

greg i'm getting worried here! by the time you and your boy(what is your son's name?) and dog make it to the beach your all 3 going to be in the 300lb weight class  and all those bikini clad girls will be running :p now I have to go wipe off the drool! keep those gourmet delights coming.

Dang it!

If you were about 1100 miles closer, I'd be there crashing the party.

Or at least scratching on the screen wanting a bone!

This is Tundra comic strip. Guy lives in Alaska. Some crazy funny stuff. Found this one and thought you should stick it on your dash board. ;)

Greg1959,
Supper looks good... so did last night's fried chicken!

I think you're the King of the Road.

After Larry posted that you're in the desert on a horse with no name... I thought you should make a little "bumper snicker" to put on your motor home (or just on the dash) "Horse with No Name".

Now tell me, Greg... can you still remember your name?
Because the song says:
In the desert, you can't remember your name...
cuz there ain't no one for to give you no name.
La, la, la,... la, la, la, la, la.

(Sorry - couldn't resist. LOL)

The SW is beautiful, you are missing out on a lot just camping there.

You should have taken a week to go through New Mexico.

Arizona has tons.

David G- I agree but...after getting snowed in with minus 14 degree temps for a few days in Billings, Montana....all I could think about was heading towards warmer weather as fast as possible! Heck, I didn't even shut off the camper engine for 3 days until I made it to New Mexico. lol

Now, I'm gonna start snaking my way back North maybe over in Nevada, California, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Idaho, heck, I don't know.

carvel minne farmer- My sons name is Boy. I'm still trying to keep my
'girly' figure! lol just kidding.

Oh, his name ain't boy, it is Chris.

Thanks
