That just brought up a few more memories. A neighbor bought a 300U that was just a few years old. He drove in here with it one evening while Dad was milking. I still remember Dad pulling the milkers off and going out in the driveway to look at it. Bill was pretty proud of that thing. It was a step up from his H,but the luster wore off that one pretty quick. He complained about it a lot and traded it off on an M.

The Dad bought one at the sale in Archbold one night. He hadn't looked it over and bought it because he thought it was going cheap. After he bought it he found out why it was cheap. It didn't have a PTO. He traded that one to the local dealer for an H.

Here is Donald with the picture I gave him of my Son pulling!!! He said that John Deere has always been his favorite---Tee

Found another one--Santa stopped one night and wanted his picture taken on a Deere--so I had to take his picture---Tee

How in the world can Elvis have an Internatuonl 300U and there are NO fenders?. Everyone I have ever seen has fenders. Talk about getting covered in dirt when running along. Get those white shoes a little dirty

My brother in law's cousin was in that. He was the brother that the old guy was going to see. Harry Dean Stanton.

Come to think of it,to go full circle,Harry Dean was in one episode of Andy Griffith. I'll bet nobody can tell me the episode and who he played, without looking it up.

+1.......currently on the Satellite movie channels is a movie about Johnny, primarily centered around his time with June Carter. Jaukeen or Juakin something is the actor playing Johnny. Movie critics said that Juakin did all the songs himself for the film. I believe it and also believe he was stoned during part of the filming just like his name sake. He did a perfect impersonation if you ask me.

Really sad that the entertainer has to endure what has to be endured, being such, making for the trials and tribulations experienced by them and those around them.
