I found this picture of my Grandpa's first tractor in southern Saskatchewan.

The house has been sold out of the family but is still lived in after a lot of renovations.

ooh yes the old 1920's 15-30 McCormick Deering. those tractors opened up a lot of land with the breaking plow. nice.

Thats cool that was my grandpa's first tractor as well I'll have to look for the picture my mom is standing beside it

I believe I was in my 50's before I ever saw a 15-30 tractor, just none ever around. Still none at shows. Now a 10-20 that was a different story. No 3 bottom plows at that time, only single bottom or 2 bottom. Grandpa's first 1926 Fordson and later a 10-20 followed up by a 41 Farmall H in 1949 and his last tractor. He passed away in 77 and we traded that tractor off in 84.

great grandpa first tractor was a Sandusky. Sadly no photos of it. I do have a photo of his steam engine.

I might have a photo of great grandpa second tractor, A Rumley. Great grandpa has a neice named Lois that is 94 and still living. She gave me photos of a Rumley she thinks was great grandpa's. I know Lois's in-laws also had a Rumely so no way to tell who the tractor really belonged too.

No picture, but my Granddad (really my dad and uncle, because my granddad never drove anything but a horse) was a Titan 10-20. My dad said it could get stuck looking at mud from a stone road. Also tough to start when hot. Jim

One of two fordsons. The other was on wheels. Not sure if this was being repaired or parts donor. They were replaced by a farmall f-20.
A man with a thick southern-european accent was insistent that Grandfather sell him one of the Fordsons. Grandfather kept saying no. Not because of his race but because the man only had one arm. If he broke his arm cranking....,well you get the picture.
Grandfather finally wore down and agreed to sell. Upon delivery the man?s wife was outraged that her one-armed husband was taken advantage of.
