On a 2010 JD oil in the clutch housing can it come from the transmission shaft or just from a leaky hydraulic pump? I have the tractor split and want to get it fixed the first time .Thank you for all your input on this forum.

I'm no JD Seller but I think seal(key 6) could have failed allowing trans oil to leak into clutch housing. I'm trying to remember what seals lower shaft (brg key 28A or 28B)

If memory serves me correct the hydraulic pump gets mounted there. There should be a short input shaft from the pump to the gear, and yes a seal and an O-Ring. I would look at the Hydraulic parts break down for the seal part number.

I see you have the Parts Advisor figured out...
