Spring has certainly arrived at the rail yards! Mud and puddles everywhere. Next week is really going to be tough when the frost starts going out.

Is it true the shipping containers are not shipped back to the country they came from. If I had one it would just be filled with stuff I would never use.Stan

And winter just came back yesterday, wind chil down in the teens. But only a skifter of snow.

Not always. I'm not sure how it works, but some are for export and some are not. There is some kind of sharing agreement that goes on. I'll get sent to pickup say a YangMing container, but it can have someone else's name on it with YangMing written on it in marker. When you see the stacks they have all brands in them, but the stacks are all one company. I have no idea how they keep it straight.

Yea You. You keep it up and I will call Claudia and tell her to freeze a couple of hard boiled eggs and put them on your supper plate. That will fix you!!!!

This one is in Minneapolis, but on the same line. This is a storage yard and these are all empty.

Some, especially specialty grins, are shipped to foreign countries in containers that have been shipped to the US. Small amount though.

Yes, I was told that most do not go back because there is not much freight to put in them, and that it costs less to build new ones than to pay to ship them back empty.
