Oliver Drawbar

I posted a while back about a tractor that showed up at the family farm - turns out my niece's husband had it dropped off.
If I read the serial numbers right it's a 1250. I noticed that it's missing the drawbar - anyone know where I could find one?
Thanks
Pete

Pete, looks a lot like my 1365. I am using a drawbar out of a 990 David Brown. Looks just like the one that came in the tractor when I got it. Oliver was green and DB was orange. Also have used one from a Yanmar. I would sell one of my extras but the shipping would be a real killer. My Ford 5000 appears to be the same also.

Thanks Arlen,
I thought it was a 1365 - the serial number is 710 631. The first time I looked it up on tractor data I came up with 1365 - when I re-checked it looked like a 1250 number.
One of my friends has a slew of old 5000's - I'll check one of them

Sheet metal looks different on a 1250. That is only the 3rd one that I have seen with that style grille.

Do you need just the straight piece that slides into the bracket or the whole mounting for the drawbar? I'd have the brackets. The straight piece of drawbar would be the same off
of ny of the 13 or 12 series Fiat Olivers,Long 445,460,550 ,560,AC 5040,5050.Length might be a little different but they work otherwise.

If a 12XX series then a 1250A, not a 1250. The 12XX series are 3 cylinder, the 13XX and 14XX are 4 cylinder.

There's not much to those drawbars at all. It's a straight piece, probably not even two feet long. They pin on and swing right in the framework. The part that bolts to the tractor is just flat stock welded together.

Thanks guys,
I think it's a 1365. We just got a bunch more snow, so I'll have to wait awhile to get underneath it - once I can, I'll see what I've got. Can't wait to put it in front of our three bottom plow - I'm guessing it'll pull it a little easier than our DB 880

Try the one out of your 880. Most all of mine have a step with a provision to bolt a hammer strap on the top.
