My barn has rain gutters but Morton knows just how to hang them so the snow doesn't effect them.

I've had it almost to the ground. Steel roofs are handy. Better than shoveling them.

About 5 years ago I had about the same thing. When it let loose it crashed down and put some dents in the steel siding.

I had the same problem, then I put snow bars on the roof, now the snow stays up there and melts.

When the snow falls off, with a thud, I sometimes think it is a car door slamming. I get up to see if I have company. And no one is there.
I used a broom to remove the ice and snow that was hanging over the edge, yesterday. Today we have 5 more inches of snow.
