Friday Tractor SN

I'm wondering if anyone knows if this tractor company put the SN anywhere else on their tractors?
The ID tag I have has the number but it is badley mangled and can't be read.

Grizz ..... the post is referring to Friday tractors (like IH, Massey, JD, etc). Maybe you thought it was question posted today, ie. Friday.

I was going to suggest looking at the engine serial number but who knows if the factory used a new, used, or rebuilt engine, or if this even is the original engine. There was a ton of Chrysler industrial flatheads floating around back then.

My Friday has the number stamped two places on the right side of the frame about at the leading front edge of rear wheel. My number in 5112 which is the 12th tractor built in 1951, I also have the build sheet. The numbers are about 1/4 inch tall. Hope this helps you.
