i have a nh workmaster 60 can i operate a 6 ft 1200 pound brush hog.i really like the woods tall deck and1/4 inch sides

It will handle a Woods BB72 Brush Bull just fine. Something heavier may be too much to lift. Your 600 Ford is not going to tear it up. I think it would be just right

At 1200 lbs you must be looking at the BB720X. The work master 60 should handle that fine as you have enough PTO hp and lift capacity assuming you have a loader to keep the front end down.

Rear lift (at ends): 3307 lbs [1500 kg]
Rear lift (at 24"/610mm): 2701 lbs [1225 kg]

The New Holland (not Ford) Workmaster 60 should be able to work a 7' (84") mower with ease. The 60 is 77" wide, and having a mower that's wider than the tractor will let you mow closer to fence lines, and other things.

I have a Woods BB720X (and a BB840X). Both are HD mowers and heavy.

Your NH Workmaster 60 should handle the 720X well in most conditions.

I have used my 720X with a MF 533 and now with a Kubota L6060. Both need front weights.

It's heavy so don't let it flop around and don't hit things while turning.

It depends on how low a gears you have! I went from a 5 foot King Kutter to a 6 foot Bush Hog, and I am using gears that I never used
before, we have a JD 4600 with 12-12 reverser. If you buy a new hog make sure the stump jumper (blade mount) is round, not oval. Our new
Bush Hog is oval and it has bent numerous times so it hits the underside of the deck. Last summer I rebuilt it and added a gusset and it
has been OK so far. The King Kutter was better designed, but lighter.
