E.R.Schwartz, they seemed to manufacture a lot of different stuff. Snow blowers, chicken pluckers, hi-lift doors. I have seen that name with lots of different stuff, I think!?? Anyone from Southern Minnesota have any first hand knowledge of them? I guess google is my friend, I'll look. gobble

Did they make the tractor wide fronts as well?

Many of the items you mention are from Schweiss, they were/ are down near Fairfax.

Yes,E.R.Schwartz made many adjustable wide front ends for a lot of brands and model tractors years back.Had a couple ,good products.

I built one similar to that many years ago. I lived three miles from the farm, and it was handy to ferry tractors back and forth without the need of an extra driver. I got rid of it because it was too handy to loan out. It took a half dozen phone calls to track it down, and the last guy that I got it back from didn't even know that it belonged to me. It was 30 years ago, and I can't even remember what I traded it for. Extreme liability in this modern world.

Same as using the tow dollie behind a motor home and U haull rents them. So I dont think there is a problem with them. Friend has a homemade one and he has towed car in multiple states with it.

I guess the planter pushed it on the trailer ? I had n IHC truck a 1210-8 with a 345 v8 it was a tough truck that's for sure. It was anlu good for about 5 mpg

Towing a 5-ton tractor with a 6-row corn planter behind it is the same as towing a Honda Civic. I don't think so.

I drove a truck for a Case dealer in the summer of 1972 and had a roll-off bed manufactured by Schwartz. It was one of the first roll-offs in the area and it would pick up large tractors, combines, whatever. It would make the little roll-offs on the local auto wreckers of today look like toys.
