Farmall M problems

I just inherited a 1947-? farmall M. It has a lot of issues I am working on fixing, but the one I can't seem to figure out is the power steering. Tractor has a wide front, and the power steering unit is under the hood. When cold, the steering works fine, but after a half hour or so of use the steering locks up tight. I have never messed with these power steering systems, anyone have any ideas? TIA

What type p. Steering is it?? Has this got its own place to put oil??? Maybe low. May be pluged filter inside canister. Could be almost anything.

Sometimes the inside of a hose will separate and collapse when oil gets warm. I've had that happen. Not necessarily on power steering.

It is a Behlen system, has a pump in front of the distributor and it's own reservoir. The oil level appears to be good, so I assume it's a pump or motor issue, but I'm not sure how to tell which it is..
