Diesel question if my lift pump is weeping fuel not wet but getting dirty on the outside could it also be sucking air in sometimes I get a high rpm miss its a 75hp thanks 🚜

Yes it very well could be letting air in

If you are seeing fuel on the outside. That means air could be getting in.

Have a grandson with an 84 Mercedes. Was told by a mechanic that the brakes were getting hot and dragging. Another told him it was a transmission problem. It seemed to only happen at high speed when it was hot. I finally fixed it by tightening a loose clamp on the fuel line.
