H vs Super H Block

Hey everyone! I finally got my project "H", but man is it ROUGH! This tractor has - among other things - a badly cracked block which I'd prefer to replace versus repair. Anyway, I was wondering if it would be possible to swap in a super H engine? Or Super H engine kit into a regular H block? What about the clutch, would a super H clutch bolt up to an H's flywheel?

Just exploring options here... Any input is appreciated...

Super H engine bolts into any but very early H tractors. The blocks are not interchangable, the H would need to have its block bored to take SH sleeves. The clutch/FW would need to be the H (IIRC) (not really an issue as they are strong enough. Jim

I don't know if this is good news or bad news: you could probably sell the H and buy a field ready Super H for less than the cost of parts and your labor to fix up the H, but that wouldn't be as much fun as fixing the H. How are the tires on the H?

P have a field ready Stage II SH. Last month of production About 1/2 way through resto. All the tin dead straight, filled, and epoxy primed. Fenders correct date rear weights available. 90% rubber.
