But I didn't buy it...Neighbor bought a '48 Farmall H at the local consignment auction. It was in the 'dead row'.Partially disassembled(true 'basket case'),it is in poor shape. But,it had 2 almost new 12x38 tires.Neighbor just wanted the tires. So,I hauled it home for him.He gave it (less the tires) to me for hauling it. It also has an old IH loader too.So now what am I going to do??? LOL

Three or four years ago, I bought an IHC W-4. New or rebuilt starter, ran very well, new battery and new rear tires. I think I gave $750 for it. Everyone accused me of buying the tires and stealing the tractor. When I got it home, tho, I found it needed a new exhaust/intake manifold.
I have one, just got to put it on!!!

Adapt it as a road grader. Maybe 20 inch old truck rears to lower the speed, and a mid mount blade to grade the drive and field road. Jim

A few months ago a red tractor followed my John Deere 60 Home. It was a 460 Farmall Diesel in Pieces..
I purchased it for the rear wheels & tires for $500.00 ( Like New Firestone field & road 6 Ply's) Thought
about parting it out or just scraping it.. Low & behold a man made me a offer on it, the tractor & all I
had goes with it less rear rims & tires less front rims & tires. His offer was $500.00 I said OK & don't
have to touch it anymore.
