Got this done last year but it is slow tonight so I thought I would share--I posted pictures out to my son in-laws shooting range last year and if you notice in the one picture is a globe by the pumpkins. I asked him what it was and if he would sell it. He said he didn't know what it was and he got it out of a junk yard and no it was not for sale but I could have it. I said no that if it met that much to him it was his. I was down to my wife's brother's welding shop and was telling him about the globe and he said they had one just like it-said the town got a new water tower and this globe was on top of it. We figure it was some kind of lightning arrester. Well I bought it brought it home and sand blasted it and painted it on my home made rotisserie and my Dad in-law made the oak base and a lady painted the continents and Case and Abe lettering. I had her paint my home town of Maynard also. I can't afford one of those $20,000 cast iron ones but I like this one. My Dad in law wouldn't take any $$$$ for the wooden base so I got him a gift certificate for $100 from their meat locker so I have about $300 in it and the Wife lets me keep it in the house. Home made and handy!---Tee
