That's a normal road around here with the freeze and thaw every week. The photo is stage,no way an IH could do That! Deere crossing!

Guy i know told me how one day his dad came up the blacktop driveway with a stieger and the subsoiler down when asked couldn't you tell ? The reply i thought it was pulling a little hard!!

A local farmer admitted to me he fell asleep while chopping stalks with a 20 foot chopper and went through a fence. The chopper cleaned out a 20 foot swath of woven wire fence before he got stopped. He said he didn’t even get out of the cab to inspect the damage, he backed up into the field and drove home to the shop.

My Dad dropped a big disc down on a really rough spot on a county road to level it up some one day,, it actually helped it a lot..

I can recall my grandfather doing a similar stunt with a SC Case and the IHC 3 bottom trail plow. He was plowing the headland of a field. When he got to the corner, he yanked the rope to lift the plow and proceeded to turn on the highway. He must have held the rope too long as the plow lifted and then dropped back in. It was kind of hard on the blacktop!

See that in my job fairly often. Not as often on the blacktop as the gravel. Happens continously on the gravel roads around the foreign dairies. They don't care, they won't have to fix it. I will say that some of the really big discs will do an amazing amount of damage to a paved road. I guess I was wrong thinking if that happened it would just grind the blades off.
