Why is it so many people just don't get it. If you start to get stuck just stop and call for the cavalry. You only going to make it worse bubba.

My dad would have threatened to skin me if I had done that,of course it would have just been a soft spot if he was driving.

it is going to take some serious H.D. equipment with some mega winches to break the suction of that mud!! I watched a guy on the Alaska highway many years ago pull the bumper and left side frame rail out of a brand new westernstar pickertruck with a d-9 dozer, the truck had slowed down for a big frost heave on the highway which occur every spring breakup, what the driver didn't know was there was an underground stream right under the frost heave! the truck dropped straight down to the frame rails tipped over to the right and the only hook the dozer operater could see was the drivers side, being in a big hurry he hooked up to it, put the d9 in gear and away he went hauling the bumper and frame rail right out of the truck!

That picture and the one that 4520 posted below of the New Holland tractor appear that it seemed to be pretty obvious that driving into where they did wasn't gonna end good in any way.

Thanks T! That's my baby, long story behind it. Poor thing only get several hours a Year now, most being pull others out.

Hauling Sugar beets in wet falls I have seen some stuck trucks. How do you get one down to the top of the frame rails like that and not know before hand. I can see to the front bumper or such but the top of the frame rails you would have to work at that for a bit.
I saw an old Astro on a fresh new drive entrance to the field set on the fuel tanks so we had a tractor pushing and one pulling to get it on the road and rolling. 8430 on front on road and 4440 pushing in back.

The only way he could have gotten there is to slide sideways off the road. He could have been sitting still and slid sideways.
