This one has some nice patina. It's been a few years since I spotted it. I'm going to go see if I can buy it this weekend. Hope it's still there.

Good luck! That H-P 70 Standard is a
"valuable" or hard to find tractor as far
as the 70's went. Can't say I've ever seen
one in person. That's a real nice looking
tractor though

Ha ha. Hopefully I'm the only one on here that knows where it's at. This one is about a quarter mile down the road.

Awww, hope you get it. It's really neat!

If we ever got another rusty tractor... it'd be a rusty Oliver 60 on steel (saw one at an auction once but couldn't convince my husband to bid on it), or a rusty B John Deere. But not likely to ever happen.

keep the faith sweetfeet, the fun is in the hunt, the trick in tracting down a tractor you want is let it come to you! by that I mean keep your eyes open your ear to the ground and it'll find you.

It's not on steel but I found this the same day as the other two.It was good day for hunting Oliver's.

carvel minne,

I agree! The hunt, the pulling it out of the woods, the online parts procurement, coming here to YT with how-to-questions, were all a blast on our rusty ol' Regular. (So much so - that I was almost disappointed once the project was done. LOL)

But... I can't convince my husband that we NEED another one. Hee-hee!

Nice!!!

We occasionally get to see the rusty 60 "that got away", at a tractor show. The new owners have never painted it... which makes me happy.
