David Brown 1210 Tractor

Anybody familiar with this utility tractor? Has 4WD. Considering using it with a round baler, 3 pt. spray rig, and rotary mower. Are parts available from Case IH? Any issues with the 4WD? Thanks

I have a 1294 4wd. It?s a very good tractor. Parts are available from Case. I?m not sure if it will be enough power for a round bailer. I know that it wouldn?t run mine. My bailer makes 5-1/2 x 5-1/2 bails and takes a lot more power than the Case has.

I know a man who bought one new in 1973 and has used it steady ever since, it was getting a little weak so he rebuilt the engine and ordered the kit online a couple years ago so parts are still available, he said that's basically the only work he ever did to it beyond maintenance.

Fine tractors. As far as round baling it's going to depend on the baler. I run a 5x5 Hesston with a DB990 and that's less HP than the 1210. Parts are no harder to get than for any other make of that era these days.

I wouldn't want to straddle that transmission for too many hours. It is very wide. Maybe it is a high platform but I have never seen one of those with it.
