My case skid steer uses 10w-30 motor oil mixed with HTO additive for the hydraulic cylinders and the hydraulic motors the drive the machine. I am thinking about changing it to Hy-Tran. Hy-Tran is what I use in my other tractors, and if I share attachments then I also contaminate the oil in all my tractors. I am wondering what you guys think.

good evening 69stang, I own a case 1845c skidsteer and shortly after I bought it I drained the case 10/30 out of the hyd. system and went with esso univis 20 hydraulic oil, with the colder cimate up here (but not much different than you) the 10/30 can cause issues. but like you said all the implements should be set up with the same oil. word of caution, don't do like I did and lend out an implement (post hole auger in my case) to a friend who has a skidsteer. turned out to have contaminated oil. turned out to be a messy expensive fix.
