PA farm show

Starts tomorrow and runs through next Saturday. Was thinking of taking the family tomorrow but decided not to, its too cold besides other scheduling conflicts. It seems to have evolved from a trade show for farmers to teaching city folk what a farm is. There is the Keystone Farm Show at the York fairgrounds aimed strictly for farmers held at the same time, I have never been to that one.

The Keystone Show at the York fairgrounds is held in several different buildings, also some of it is outside. It is well worth going to if you are serious about seeing modern farm machinery and all of the associated AG vendors. Parking is on the fairgrounds property and not as at the PA Farm Show where you must park far away and take a bus.
The PA Farm Show has a nice display of "antique" tractors on Wednesday in the equine arena.

not the same as it was 50 yrs ago. it has evolved especially with displays of equipment although there is enough there to keep me happy. the stock/animal pens area are still farmerish though. can't go this year as bad back prevents much walking for me. great stuff happens in the arena area.

I haven't been there in a few years, but I remember thinking that there wasn't much there to see back then.

I was just reading through Lancaster Farming, noticed a lot of venders have in their ads "Find us at booth xxx at the Keystone Farm Show". No mention of the other one.

last year,I had hopes of meeting you there this year,,but Im so sore from the radiation treatments I Can hardly walk,,,see you there next year!
