On here all you need to do is ask who made the best tractor. That will get folks stirred up.

I believe my 1958 310B meets quick and nimble specifications. My triple range still works, but I keep getting calls on repair of select-o-shift! LOL!

I made a lot of hay growing up with a 800 Case-o-matic. It ran good, but I still do not know how the transmission was SUPPOSED to work. On ours, it would not start out under any load at all with the clutch pedal out. So you had to pull the torque converter lever, and it would about pop a wheelie just to take off. We used it that way till it got parked for good. I know it wasn't quite right.

With a light load in low range they will usually roll at idle, but can easily be stopped with the brake. To go you ket out the clutch and give it gas, just like an auto trany in a car. Give it gas to go, let off to stop. You dont pull the lock up til your moving. You also don't let the clutch out except at idle, just like putting a car in gear.

Or say ANYTHING that might be construed as being offensive to the leader of the free world. That'll rain down the wrath of God on you quicker than anything.

Larry, I'm just enjoying all the wood that my Case tractors allowed me to make in past years.
Just got in from thawing out the car so wifey could get into it and go do the Friday grocery run. It is 2 below and wind gusts up to 20mph. The fireplace feels pretty good today.

Persevereance is the correct word, I had Mrs. BELL in 5th grade and she made me learn that word because already I didn't give a darn about school. Am 67 now and it still sticks in there. Not word police just grammer school training.

That's the word I was looking for! It may have come to my mind after another cup of coffee or two.

Truth be known, I would dearly love to have a Ford 5000 diesel row crop.

That's easy. CaseIH is the best tractor and Ford is the best pickup. There, that settles it. Now I don't need anyone responding to this. Have a nice day, Flying Belgian

Whatever.

Hello jeffcat,

Not the correct police, but I think it is perseverance?

Guido.

So in this thread it would be safe to ask about using pvc pipe for my shop air line?

:)

Can I use ethanol to run my Harbor Freight generator to power my house without using a transfer switch?

running both a 1959 case 310b and a 1961 Minneapolis Moline m5, I now realize why all the john deere tractors are green (envy!) and the ih's all turned red (embarrassed!) if you want to experience real torque and hp. climb onto the seat of a Minneapolis Moline for a smooth nimble ride with unreal torque, if you need a smaller chore tractor around the farm you can't beat a case 310b, of course this is just my humble opinion

Da"n, went back to work today and so busy, I never had a chance to come here and see what was happening! Steve, you can use either a wireless connector a USB link. Should work fine. You guys were full of it today!

Not too often somebody calls me a good one,so I guess I'd better take that one as a compliment. LOL
