........years of wedded bliss. Mostly LOL. Seriously,it's been a wonderful journey with my best friend. One that we will continue into eternity.We met on the back of a truck...A float in a parade June 23,85. engaged August 31,85. married Jan 4 ,'86 in Gunnison CO.

I drove through Delta a few times last week. Looking dry (but also looking warm--hated to head home).
 
Hi, congratulations! I just heard at Christmas time 2 people that haven't been married very long 4 or 5 yrs, are splitting up. Very common nowadays. What's going on? Ed Will Oliver Bc
 
I should have. I'm out there most summers for a week or two and probably every other or every third Christmas. Family in Norwood and a nephew in Whitewater.

Congradulations to the two of you. Hope Susan has a full recovery. Will be 40 for us in July. RB
 
Still kids. Next Tuesday, January 9, will be 47 for me and the wife. Any more, any couple that stays married over 5 or 6 years is a long timer. And a lot more are not even bothering with getting married. Congratulations to both of you.
 
Nephew's on the other side of 50, Bean-something road, just before you get to Kannah Creek. He's a younger guy, trained as a deisel mechanic and doing something w/ the oil out by Rifle. He's looking to sell out and move closer to work, just a little too far out of town for his wife who has family in Junction.
 
Sat, Jan13 will be 50 years for me and my "Dream girl". Friend was driving my 65 GTO, we parked at the pizza shop beside a car with 3 lovely young ladies.The driver looked at us and immediately rolled up her window and locked her door. I did the same, I was as scared as she was. We eventually got to chatting and it took me about a month to get enough courage to call her.After a year of "courting" we embarked on a journey that was all a man could ask for. I married a woman of infinite patience who gave me two great kids,They gave us four grandchildren who are all joy, no trouble. There is nothing like a good dose of matrimony to make life a pleasure.
 
The good Lord provided me with my wife and her with me. Forty six years of a blessed marriage. I told her that 45 of them were good. She told me she only counted 40 as good. Ha Ha .
The Lord provides every one with their spouse. If you find that spouse fine and dandy, if you do not then well .....
 
Susan is (pretty much) fully recovered. Back to volunteering at the local hospital. Busy as ever,cant slow her down!
 
Congrats, Connie and I celebrated 53 years last week. She's a smart woman, didn't think I could keep her fooled that long.
